Shivapur Hydel Plant is a 18 MW power station located on the Tungabhadra left bank canal near Hospet in Karnataka, India. This is a first Hydel Power Project to be commissioned in the private sector in post independence era that has turned out a plant availability factor of 98% consistently. The station supplies power to high tension industrial consumers utilizing the KPTCL (Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd) grid, under a wheeling and banking arrangement.

The Shivapur Plant has been awarded the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. With a complete adherence to the quality, health, workplace aesthetics and safety policies, Shivapur is a tribute to the BPCL's project management capability.
