Spreading its power over a greater part of
Karnataka, BPCL initiated the Madhavamantri
project across the River Cauvery in February
1999. This project has 3 MW
capacity at the toe of the Madhavamantri
Anicut situated across River Cauvery in
T.Narasipur Taluk. The project site is
situated near Hemmige village, 150 kms from
Bangalore. This project was commissioned in
July 2001.
