Close on the heels of the Shivapur Plant's
success, BPCL was allotted a string of mini
hydel power projects, with a total installed
capacity of 6.6 MW, at Shahapur in Gulbarga
district of Karnataka. The Shahapur schemes
were executed between 1995 and 1998.
Systematically planned maintenance and
enhancements, driven by an experienced
management has made Shahapur a success in the
power generation industry.
