Cauvery

BPCL has now been allotted the Cauvery Small Hydel Scheme across Bharachukki branch of River Cauvery near village Charamapura Doddi of Kollegal Taluk, Chamarajnagar District. The proposed installed capacity of the scheme will be 7.5 MW (3 x 2.5 MW) and commissioning is scheduled by 2009.

Chayabhagavathi

The company is all set to establish its one more mini hydel plant on the right side of existing Chayadevi Hydro Power Scheme.  A 18 MW run of the river project, it is located 5 kms downstream of the picturesque Narayanpur dam and 120 kms from Raichur in Karnataka. The scheme is scheduled to commissioned in 2009.

Kalanja

BPCL has got allotment for 2x2MW Kalanja Mini Hydel Scheme across stream Neria, upstream of existing 2x4.5MW Neria Power Station.  The proposed Kalanja Hydel Scheme is about 0.5kms upstream of the Nidle bridge across River Neria.  The site is about 5kms from Dharmasthala.  The project can be reached by road (NH 48) from Bangalore and taking a deviation on SH 37 to Dharmasthala via Kokkada. The site is about 295kms from Bangalore and about 60kms from Mangalore. The project is schedule to commission by 2009.

Kuruvalli

BPCL has got allotment for 3x3MW Kuruvalli Mini Hydel Scheme across River Thunga, The proposed Kuruvalli Hydel Scheme is in Kuruvalli village , Thirthahalli Taluk.  The site is about 4kms from Thirhahalli. The project can be reached by road (NH 13) from Shimoga towards Mangalore. The site is about 340kms from Bangalore and about 65kms from Shimoga. The project is schedule to commission by 2009.

Donitanda

BPCL has got allotment for 25.5 MW Wind project in Gadag District. The project is schedule to commission by 2013.
