We in Bhoruka are committed to our policies on
Occupational health and safety to improve our
safety performance. We have received safety performance award from
National safety council in a function
conducted in January 2007. We have our joint committees (including
workmen) in all our power stations for
planning and managing the work front on
environment / safety / occupational / health /
legal requirements. Regular internal audits
are conducted. Top Management provides all
necessary resources to complete identified
safety projects. There is no restriction on
safety-oriented expenses.
We have developed, established and implemented
an integrated management system to organize,
manage, review and control the environment / safety / occupational / health management system /
based upon international standards. On a
day-to-day basis we are maintaining and
improving the system with sustainable
development. The system includes planning
activities, delegation of power, practices,
procedures, processes, and resources. We have covered all our power stations and the
Corporate Office in the scope.
